Wales's largest economic region, bringing together ten councils across South East Wales. Since 2017, through the City Deal, CCR has created and safeguarded over 3,000 jobs, supported more than 200 businesses, and invested millions in transport, innovation and skills. From April 2024, CCR became part of the South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee with new statutory powers for regional transport and strategic planning.
